AUGI world is the magazine of the official Autodesk international user group. On the July issue we can find this article about the new prospects that the release of the REVIT “all in one” (since 2013), brings for MEP design. Parametric and adaptive design tools and options, which until the previous release were only for Revit Architecture, feature new options for MEP design projects. The article shows an example where it was needed to position water sprinklers on a double curvature ceiling; which also had to be updateable to constant changes on the architecture project. A solution is proposed based on adaptive components and nested families. An interesting article in a magazine that always bring news about the possibilities of Autodesk software.
